TERMS OF SERVICE

Effective Date: October 1, 2026

Welcome to Spa Guy’s Big Bear Lake. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the services provided by Spa Guy’s Big Bear Lake (“Spa Guy’s,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website, requesting service, scheduling an appointment, or authorizing work, you agree to these Terms.

1. SERVICES

Spa Guy’s Big Bear Lake provides spa, hot tub, and pool maintenance and related services, including spa cleaning, drain and fill services, purge/deep cleaning, rental turnover cleaning, emergency service calls, spa repairs, and pool maintenance.

Services are subject to availability and may vary based on location, equipment condition, weather, accessibility, and other circumstances.

2. SERVICE AREA

We primarily serve Big Bear Lake, Big Bear City, and surrounding communities. Availability and any applicable travel or service-call charges may vary depending on the property location.

3. APPOINTMENTS & PROPERTY ACCESS

Customers are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the spa, hot tub, pool, equipment, electrical controls, gates, and other areas necessary to perform the requested service.

If the customer will not be present, the customer authorizes Spa Guy’s Big Bear Lake and its technicians to enter the designated service area at the scheduled time using access instructions provided by the customer.

For vacation rentals and other managed properties, the customer is responsible for ensuring that access instructions, gate codes, lockbox codes, and property information are accurate and current.

If we cannot access the property or equipment at the scheduled service time, a service-call or rescheduling fee may apply.

4. ESTIMATES & AUTHORIZATION

When applicable, Spa Guy’s Big Bear Lake will provide an estimate or quote before repair work is performed.

Additional problems may become apparent after inspection, diagnosis, disassembly, or testing. If additional work or charges are required, we will seek customer authorization as required before proceeding.

Estimates are based on the information and conditions reasonably available at the time the estimate is provided and may be subject to change if additional problems are discovered.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit any rights provided to consumers under applicable California law.

5. SERVICE CALLS & DIAGNOSTIC FEES

A service-call, inspection, emergency-service, or diagnostic fee may apply depending on the service requested.

Where applicable, these charges will be disclosed before service is performed. A diagnostic or service-call fee may be due even if the customer chooses not to proceed with the recommended repair.

6. PAYMENT

Payment is due according to the terms provided on the applicable invoice, estimate, service agreement, or maintenance plan.

Customers are responsible for all authorized services, labor, materials, chemicals, replacement parts, service-call charges, and other agreed-upon fees.

Recurring maintenance customers are responsible for keeping their billing and contact information current.

Past-due accounts may result in suspension or cancellation of future services.

7. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

We understand that schedules change. Customers should provide as much notice as reasonably possible when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment.

Spa Guy’s Big Bear Lake reserves the right to charge a cancellation, missed appointment, or service-call fee when a technician has been dispatched, when insufficient notice is provided, or when we cannot access the property at the scheduled time.

8. SPA & POOL WATER CONDITIONS

Spa and pool water chemistry can change rapidly due to usage, weather, contamination, equipment performance, water source, guest behavior, chemicals, lotions, oils, food, beverages, and other factors outside our control.

While we take reasonable professional measures to clean, sanitize, test, and balance water during service, we cannot guarantee that water chemistry will remain at the same levels after the service visit.

Property owners, property managers, and rental operators remain responsible for monitoring their spa or pool between service visits and ensuring that guests use the equipment appropriately.

9. VACATION RENTAL & TURNOVER SERVICES

For vacation rentals, Spa Guy’s Big Bear Lake may provide regularly scheduled or back-to-back services intended to prepare the spa for incoming guests.

Service timing may depend on guest checkout times, property access, weather, water conditions, equipment performance, and the condition in which previous guests leave the spa.

We cannot guarantee that every water-quality or equipment problem can be corrected within a limited turnover window, particularly when a spa requires draining, refilling, heating, extensive cleaning, or repair.

Property owners and managers are responsible for communicating appropriate spa-use rules to their guests.

10. EQUIPMENT CONDITION & PRE-EXISTING PROBLEMS

Spa Guy’s Big Bear Lake is not responsible for pre-existing damage, deterioration, leaks, corrosion, worn components, improper installation, defective equipment, freeze damage, electrical problems, plumbing failures, or other conditions that existed before our service.

Performing maintenance or repair on one component does not guarantee that unrelated components will not subsequently fail.

Older or poorly maintained equipment may experience additional problems during normal servicing, draining, refilling, inspection, or repair.

11. REPAIRS & REPLACEMENT PARTS

Repairs are based on the condition of the equipment at the time of diagnosis. Some problems may involve multiple components or may require additional troubleshooting after an initial repair.

Replacement parts may be new, manufacturer-approved, aftermarket, rebuilt, or otherwise appropriate for the repair, depending on availability and customer authorization.

Any warranty or guarantee applicable to specific repair work or replacement parts will be provided in accordance with applicable law and any written warranty accompanying the service or part.

Manufacturer warranties are subject to the manufacturer’s own terms and conditions.

12. WEATHER & MOUNTAIN CONDITIONS

Big Bear weather and mountain conditions can affect service schedules and equipment operation.

Snow, ice, freezing temperatures, road closures, storms, unsafe driving conditions, power outages, inaccessible properties, frozen equipment, or other hazardous conditions may cause service delays or cancellations.

Spa Guy’s Big Bear Lake reserves the right to reschedule service when conditions are unsafe for our technicians or prevent reasonable access to the property.

13. FREEZE DAMAGE & POWER FAILURES

Customers are responsible for maintaining adequate power and proper operation of their spa or hot tub, particularly during freezing weather.

Spa Guy’s Big Bear Lake is not responsible for damage caused by power outages, tripped breakers, equipment failure, frozen plumbing, freezing temperatures, improper winterization, lack of water circulation, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers should contact us promptly if they become aware that a spa has lost power, stopped circulating, is leaking, or is otherwise malfunctioning during freezing conditions.

14. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Customers agree to provide accurate information regarding the property and equipment and to disclose known leaks, electrical issues, equipment failures, unusual water conditions, or other hazards.

Customers are also responsible for maintaining safe access to the service area and keeping pets, guests, tenants, and other individuals away from the work area while service is being performed.

15. PHOTOS & SERVICE DOCUMENTATION

Spa Guy’s Big Bear Lake may photograph the spa, pool, equipment, water-test results, or surrounding service area for documentation, quality control, customer communication, and verification that service was performed.

These photographs will not be used for advertising or promotional purposes in a manner that identifies a private customer or property without appropriate permission.

16. EMERGENCY SERVICES

Emergency service is subject to technician availability, weather, road conditions, parts availability, and property access.

While we make reasonable efforts to respond promptly, we do not guarantee a specific emergency response or repair time unless expressly agreed to in writing.

17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Spa Guy’s Big Bear Lake will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including equipment failure, loss of use, rental interruptions, guest complaints, lost rental income, water damage, power outages, weather conditions, or failures of third-party equipment.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be limited or waived under applicable law.
